Student Events

The List Visual Arts Center is more than a contemporary art museum: it’s an active gathering place, education center, and workspace for college students right on MIT’s campus. Read more to find out how you can get involved with student-centered events and programs.

- Borrow an original work of art from the Student Lending Art Program collection for your living space
- Set up a guided tour of the current exhibition or permanent collection for your residence, your group, or your friends
- Take a field trip and encounter the art world in Boston and Cambridge
- Discover contemporary art through special classes and workshops with artists, museum staff, and art experts
- Participate in a monthly Slow Looking Art Workshop for a mindful, art-focused study break
- Further your career in the art world by interning or volunteering at the List
