The MIT List Visual Arts Center is pleased to introduce the 2021–2022 group of Student Guides who lead walking tours of the Public Art Collection.
The Student Guide Program provides knowledge of MIT’s Public Art Collection, contemporary art practices, visual literacy and analysis, critical thinking, and public engagement with art, architecture, and environs.

2021–2022 Student Guides
Audrey Gatta, MIT Class of 2023 majoring in Art & Design with a minor in Spanish. Audrey is also involved in Design for America, and her interests lie in bridging engineering and the arts.
Aviva Intveld, MIT Class of 2023 majoring in Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences and minoring in Materials Science and Engineering. On campus, Aviva is involved in sustainability and interfaith efforts, and she is passionate about the way science influences artistic processes.
Fatima Nasir Abbasi, MIT Class of 2025 majoring in Mathematics and Computation and Cognition.
Eva Smerekanych, MIT Class of 2023 studying Physics, Mathematics with Computer Science, and Architecture. Eva loves learning about how the universe works and applying the beauty of math to her love of art.
Katherine Guo, MIT Class of 2023 majoring in Materials Science & Engineering and Art & Design. Amongst her interests, Katherine loves nature and the outdoors and is always interested in how artists interact with their physical environments.
