Join the MIT List Visual Arts Center for a screening of the documentary Sol LeWitt by director Chris Teerink.

Discover more on life and philosophy of artist Sol LeWitt through extensive interviews and documentation of LeWitt's artworks from around the world. A short presentation about Sol LeWitt's installations at MIT, Bars of Color within Squares (MIT) and Wall Drawing #254will be shared prior to the film screening. 

Independent Activities Period (IAP)

This program is part of the Independent Activities Period (IAP), a special four-week term at MIT. IAP 2023 begins on Monday, January 9, 2023, and ends on Friday, February 3, 2023. Guests from outside the MIT community are welcome to attend all in-person events. 

This winter, the List Center will be taking a deeper look at the lives and work of select artists within our Public Art Collection. Join us in the Bartos Theater for film screenings Wednesday evenings at 5:30 PM throughout the IAP session.
