Join the MIT List Visual Arts Center for a screening of the documentary Ursula von Rydingsvard: Into Her Own.

Get a behind-the-scenes look at a woman conquering the world of monumental sculpture. Through conversations with curators, family and fellow artists, learn more about the personal life and work of artist, Ursula von Rydingsvard. A short presentation about Ursula von Rydingsvard's installation, SCIENTIA at MIT will be shared prior to the film screening. 

Independent Activities Period (IAP)

This program is part of the Independent Activities Period (IAP), a special four-week term at MIT. IAP 2023 begins on Monday, January 9, 2023, and ends on Friday, February 3, 2023. Guests from outside the MIT community are welcome to attend all in-person events. 

This winter, the List Center will be taking a deeper look at the lives and work of select artists within our Public Art Collection. Join us in the Bartos Theater for film screenings Wednesday evenings at 5:30 PM throughout the IAP session.
