The 2024–25 Student Lending Art Program exhibition featured 478 artworks. The List continued to offer undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to sign-up remotely as part of its ongoing efforts to improve accessibility.
This year, the List Center added 11 artworks to the Student Lending Art Collection, including works by Sónia Almeida, Luis Arnías, Maya Erdelyi, Pedro Gómez-Egaña, Joan Jonas, Christine Sun Kim, Crystalle Lacouture, and Kite. This was made possible through contributed and endowed support from the Friends of Boston Art, Karen and Greg Arenson, Beth and Rick Marcus, the John Taylor Endowment, the Alan May Endowment, the List Visual Arts Center Advisory Board, and gifts of art.
This program provides deeper connections to art within the MIT Student Community. Each year, we interview a few students on their experience. Visit here to learn more about how students are inspired by the art they select.
