Join exhibiting artist Tavares Strachan for a walk through of his exhibition Orthostatic Tolerance (It Might Not Be Such a Bad Idea if I Never Went Home). Strachan has been exploring space and deep-sea training in this multiphase body of work since 2006. The solo exhibition features drawings, photographs, video works, sculpture, and installations as well as new works that were developed during Strachan’s recent residency at MIT.

Strachan will be on hand to discuss works in the exhibition focusing on his collaborative efforts with the MIT 3D Imaging Optical Group, MIT’s Manned Vehicle Laboratory in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and the MIT Sea Grant College Program’s Autonomous Underwater Vehicle Lab.
