Sound Performance: Eric Wong
MIT List Visual Art Center, Non-Event, and the Goethe-Institut Boston are pleased to present a performance by the sound artist Eric Wong as part of his Bluetooth Speaker Series.
Using Bluetooth speakers can be a portable way to facilitate a spatialized sonic experience. The portability of the speakers enables different ways for performers and audience members to relate to the speakers, which can either be placed sporadically throughout the space or among the audience, who may also interact with the speakers during performances. It decentralizes the use of the PA system, and it creates a fluid relationship between the audience and sound sources.
