In the foreground, two bunny sculptures—one red, one beige—sit on pedestals, facing away from each other. In the background, on the wall, a stripe of black paint outlines documents tacked in a row (some of their contents redacted in black rectangles) and a video monitor showing a woman’s head. On the far right, a different wall is marked by flowing horizontal lines and a drippy substance.

Join List Center exhibition curator for a guided tour of Performing Conditions: Artistic Labor Dependency of Form.

This curatorial tour will highlight how Performing Conditions examines the entangled relationships between art, labor, debt, and dependency. The tour will emphasize a selection of works that consider the landscapes of labor from plantations and museums, hospitals and factories, studios and households.
