Join Paul Ha, Director of MIT List Visual Arts Center for a conversation with Ethel Kessler an Art Director for the United States Postal Service. Kessler has designed hundreds of stamps for the USPS, including the sought-after tribute stamps to artists Ruth Asawa and Louise Nevelson. This virtual conversation will delve into the process of designing artwork for the USPS, how individual stamps are presented together on a sheet, and the significance of creating tributes for great woman artists.
