Join the MIT List Visual Arts Center for the concurrent opening receptions for Intuition and Vision and the Wiesner Student Art Gallery exhibition Success & Failure

Intuition and Vision presents artworks drawn from the MIT List Visual Arts Center’s student loan and campus loan collections. Spanning the historical breadth of both collections, the exhibition assembles a diverse selection of artists who have engaged urgent questions our communities and country continue to face today, from social justice and abuse of power to modes of resistance and renewed political imagination.  The exhibition is curated by Jamin An, Curatorial Fellow, MIT List Visual Arts Center, and is presented upstairs in the Stratton Student Center, Third Floor Mezzanine.

Success & Failure, curated by Kate Weishaar, Architecture, ‘18 features artworks by MIT undergraduate students examining students’ own definitions of “success” and failure”, while challenging viewers to redefine these words for themselves.  The Wiesner Student Art Gallery is located on the second floor of the Stratton Student Center, Building W20.

This event is free and open to the MIT community and general public.
