Join exhibition curators, Selby Nimrod and Zach Ngin for a tour of List Projects 31: Kite.

This guided exhibition walkthrough and conversation encourages visitors to take a closer look at the works in Kite's exhibition.

The presentation is centered around an installation featuring sculpture, video, and sound titled Wičháȟpi Wóihaŋbleya (Dreamlike Star) (2024). The piece began with three months of the artist’s dreams, which she translated into the geometric lexicon of Lakȟóta visual language. Through a closer examination of Kite’s visual and instructional scores, visitors are invited to consider various forms of listening – to collaborators, to nonhumans, and to dreams – as the foundation of the artist’s research-creation and compositional process.
