Upcoming Travel Opportunities with the List

Travel with the List Center is an exciting way to connect with fellow MIT art lovers across the globe. Recently, we visited San Francisco,  New Orleans, Marfa,  and London.

This year, our staff will attend the most interesting art fairs and Biennales around the world. We’d love to spend time with MIT Alumni along the way. While we are not planning group trips, we can arrange for VIP passes, private tours, and behind-the-scenes access to these world-class art destinations:

Frieze, New York
May 2–5, 2019
While we are not running an organized program to Frieze this year, we are happy to arrange for VIP passes for our members. Please contact us by March 27th to secure a pass. Free with membership.

List Local: Studio Visits
April 27, 2019
Join us to visit Waltham Artists Jesse Aron Green and Tory Fair. Free with membership.

Student Lending Art Program Buying Trip
May 31, 2019
Tour the Whitney Biennial and Alicjia Kwade’s rooftop installation at the Metropolitan Museum. We will also do a studio visit and finish the day at some Chelsea galleries. A suggested donation of $1,000 per person for this trip with all of the funds raised going towards the acquisition of work for the Student Lending Collection. Members of the group will have the chance to vote on the acquisition based on the art we see during the day.

List Travels: Berlin
June 20–24, 2019
In Berlin we will do studio visits with Rosa Barba, Alicjia Kwade, and Olafur Eliasson. We will stay at the fabulous Hotel de Rome and visit museums, galleries, and private collections.
