Public Program Slow Art Day

April 8, 2017, 3:00PM

MIT List Visual Arts Center

Celebrate Slow Art Day at the List Center. During this annual event, people all over the world visit local museums and galleries to look at art slowly. The goal is to focus on art and the art of seeing.

From 12-2:30 PM a handout will be available at the List Visual Arts Center front desk to provide visitors with a self-guided gallery viewing experience. The idea is to spend 10 minutes with each artwork—fully engaged in a relaxed manner.

At 3 PM join us for a facilitated group discussion to share observations and possible interpretations. This program is free. Reserve your spot here
