Are you an MIT student who did not receive art through this year’s lottery? You still have the chance to borrow an original artwork of art from the Student Loan Art collection!
All artworks that are not claimed by the end of the day on Thursday, September 17 are available to students (including those who did not participate in the lottery) on a first come, first served basis starting at noon on Friday. Artwork will be distributed until 3 pm, or until all pieces are claimed. Students are allowed to line up in the upper atrium before noon and will be let into the galleries 10 at a time to view art and make their selection.
To participate, you must present at valid MIT ID. You will be required to fill out paperwork and review care and handling guidelines with List staff during dispersal.
