Glasgow-based artist Duncan Campbell’s film Bernadette (currently on view at the List Center) presents an unconventional yet insightful portrait of Irish dissident and political activist Bernadette Devlin. Campbell’s film utilizes archival material, found footage, animation, and scripted voice-over to upend the formal conventions of documentary filmmaking. Following a screening of the film, Campbell will discuss his work and take questions from the audience.
