Conversation with Matthew Day Jackson and David A. Mindell

MIT Professor David A. Mindell’s recent book Digital Apollo, (MIT Press) examines issues related to the human-machine interface in the development of the Apollo space program.  Artist Matthew Day Jackson and Mindell will engage in a discussion of those issues and the themes expressed in Jackson’s current List Center exhibition.  Mindell is Dibner Professor of the History of Eginering and Manufacturing, Professor of Engineering Systems at MIT.  In developing works for the exhibition at MIT Jackson worked with Mindell in researching ideas during his artist residency at MIT. This conversation will be moderated by exhibition curator Bill Arning.
