Ampersand, a monthly collaborative concert series presented by WMBR & List Visual Arts Center, showcases contemporary music in Bartos Theater on MIT’s campus. Ampersand creatively inspires its community by giving musicians an opportunity to juxtapose music and visual art in a respectful setting. Ampersand occurs monthly, and audience members are encouraged to visit the current List exhibition before experiencing each performance.

WMBR and the List are pleased to present a night of cutting edge jazz and improvised music. This concert features The Outnumbered, a group of some of New England’s finest post-modern jazz musicians.  The Outnumbered showcases the varied compositions of Jason Robinson, Josh Rosen and Charlie Kohlhase as well as musical contributions from Curt Newton and Bruno Raberg. Opening will be Carl Testa, a key member of the New Haven improvisation scene, performing on solo bass and electronics.

Tickets are available for purchase at the door or online at http//

Cost: $3 with MIT ID, $5 general admission.
