Ampersand Concert Series: Falzonic Research Ensemble / Grammar

Join us for the second Ampersand concert of the season, featuring brand new collaborative art and music performances from Falzonic Research Ensemble and Grammar. Falzonic Research Ensemble, featuring members of the band Vio/Mire, performs a live score for the absurdist short film “For Reasons Unknown” by Providence/LA filmmaker Mike Formanski.

Local Somerville band Grammar opens the night with mellow pop and calming visuals created specifically for this performance.

Tickets are available for purchase at the door. Cash only.

Cost: $3 with MIT ID, $5 general admission.

Ampersand, a collaborative concert series presented by WMBR & List Visual Arts Center, showcases contemporary music in Bartos Theater on MIT’s campus. Ampersand creatively inspires its community by giving musicians an opportunity to juxtapose music and visual art in a respectful setting. Audience members are encouraged to current exhibitions at the List before experiencing each performance.
