Substitute Gallery Attendant - The List Center is seeking individuals to work occasionally in the galleries, during special events or while permanent Gallery Attendants are on vacation or unavailable. Duties include greeting and assisting visitors, monitoring the galleries and protecting the art, selling catalogues, and operating audio-visual technologies. Candidates should be knowledgeable about art, enjoy interacting with the public, and be able to monitor large galleries for an extended period of time. Please note, this is not a permanent position, and substitutes are not MIT employees.
